Introduction
NeatTools is operated by Arena HD ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use neattools.io, what we do with it, and your rights over it. It applies to all visitors and registered users.
Information we collect
Things you give us directly
If you create an account, you give us an email address, a chosen password (stored hashed), and any optional profile information. If you contact us, we keep the email contents and metadata. If you make a paid purchase (for Pro features), we receive payment metadata from our processor but never your full card number.
Things we collect automatically
Standard server logs (IP address, browser user-agent, the URL you requested, referrer, timestamp). Cookies — strictly necessary cookies for the site to work, optional analytics cookies (Google Analytics), and optional advertising cookies (Google AdSense and partners). You can decline non-necessary cookies through the consent banner on first visit.
Tool inputs
Most tools run entirely in your browser. The files, text, or images you process do not reach our servers. A small number of tools require server processing — those tools display a notice, and the data is deleted immediately after processing.
How we use information
To provide and improve the service, to authenticate registered users, to respond to your messages, to send transactional emails (account changes, receipts), to detect abuse and security incidents, to comply with legal obligations, and to display relevant advertising through our advertising partners.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share information with: payment processors (only what is needed to process payment), analytics and advertising providers (Google Analytics, Google AdSense), our hosting and email infrastructure providers, and law enforcement only when legally compelled. Cookies and tracking
We use first-party cookies for authentication and preferences. Third-party cookies are used for analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google AdSense and approved partners). You can manage your preferences through the consent banner that appears on first visit and can be reopened any time via the link in the footer.
Data retention
Account data: kept while your account is active and for up to 12 months after deletion (for audit and abuse prevention). Server logs: 90 days. Payment metadata: as long as legally required (typically 7 years for tax purposes). Tool inputs that touch our servers: deleted immediately after processing.
Your rights
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar laws, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability of any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email hello@neattools.io with "Data request" in the subject line. We will respond within 30 days. California residents have analogous rights under the CCPA.
Children
NeatTools is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete the data.
Security
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. We use isolated production infrastructure and limit administrative access. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Changes
We update this policy as our practices evolve. Material changes will be announced at the top of this page and to registered users by email.
